It’s mid summer where the days are glorious and the sun shines brightly. Well technically that’s the way it should be but Wellington has a mind of it’s own. Soon the balmy summer days and nights will turn into autumnal weeks before winter is at our door.
Thanks to the handy efforts of my husband Tim (The Doily Grind’s special guest for January) the Stranges will be well sorted to put an end to winter blues with our new woodshed – aptly named Woodstock. A bit of a carpentry enthusiast, Tim has been dabbling in the odd woodwork project of late with great success. So before Christmas Tim decided easy access to the wood was a super duper idea and he was underway.
With a bit of active google investigation Tim was soon armed with a set of instructions on how to build your own shed from recycling unwanted pallets – genius! A week or so later with a trip to Zip, the car (Vinnie to those who know him) was loaded up and he was underway.
With a bit of teamwork (my lack of upper body strength was not an excuse to get me out of lift the shed into position!), Tim’s handy-ness and know how, Woodstock was soon created and completed. Whilst Tim admired his creation sipping a cup of tea, I attacked Woodstock with a bit of half tea (paint) and bingo, all done!
Amazing effort Tim!
